EFTPoS card terminal installation services
AzteQ has extensive experience in EFTPoS card terminal installation services.
Installations and Swap Outs
We can arrange all logistics of terminals from the customer and delivery to engineer collection hubs. Upon arriving at the site, the engineer will poll and de-install the old terminal(s) and install the new terminal(s). Installation covers unpacking, arranging configuration download, providing operator training and conducting a successful test transaction. The engineer will also be responsible for completing the necessary paperwork, removing the old terminal(s) and returning them to a secure storage location prior to return deliveries to the customer.
Maintenance
If required, engineers can carry stock in order to facilitate terminal maintenance including tally roll dispenser replacement, board changes, cable swaps etc. Maintenance services are normally 8 hour/next day.
Removal Service
Upon arriving at the site the engineer will remove the existing terminals, carry out an end of day poll if required, collect and pack any on site terminals and return the terminals to the engineer depot for onward shipment to the customer’s stock location.
Merchant Training
All installation services would incorporate merchant training by trained engineers.
Warehousing
AzteQ can utilise extensive warehousing facilities for onward logistics. Stock management is either via the warehouse or clients' warehouse management system and can cover parts held in central warehouses and forward stock locations.
Accurate stock reporting is provided and the replenishment cycle is managed within agreed SLAs. 90,000 sq ft of warehousing is available, with a pick of around 900,000 part lines a year. This has the flexibility to increase or decrease space at short notice to meet specific requirements. 15 forward stock locations are available, which are supported by the overnight trunking facility. The forward stock locations can be used for engineer delivery / collection points, providing the base for both technical engineering services or for onward logistics as detailed below. Stock is controlled centrally and full stock visibility can be provided in real-time.
Onward Logistics
AzteQ can utilise a technically-advanced outdoor drop box distribution system for our deliveries. With secure warehousing in Hemel, Rugby and Watford we can access 4,000 intelligent drop boxes across the UK, providing an average travel distance of under 15 minutes.
The drop boxes are normally located on petrol station forecourts, providing field based personnel with 24/7 access to highly secure, visible sites with easy vehicle access. Working in the same manner as an ATM - with card and PIN number - the network is currently used by a growing number of business clients, principally to maintain an accurate delivery of products/components between users throughout the UK.
Co-ordination & AzteQ Job Management System; AJaMS
AzteQ utilises a fully integrated real-time web based management system (AJaMS), which is visible to customers and staff via a secure password. Once installation advice has been sent to AzteQ the jobs are uploaded on the system and the engineers allocated. The jobs are then visible to the engineers by viewing their own web portal, prior to installation activities.
The engineers organise their own routes and close down each job in real time via a phone call; this information is then added to the web as it happens, giving our customers a real time job closure system.
End of day/end of week report can be supplied according to customer requirements. Further customised activities, including KPIs, can be incorporated accordingly.
Telephone services
For all services we can provide a Merchant Communication program. This can include undertaking telephone site surveys and booking engineer visits with merchants, to effect the service provision and to comply with the stipulated time scales. Additional telephone services can be provided if required.
Coverage Area
AzteQ provides coverage throughout the UK Mainland. Other offshore areas and Northern Ireland can be covered if required.
Hours of Cover
Installation services are generally available Monday to Saturday from 08.30 to 17.30, excluding public and bank holidays. Service cover outside of these hours can be provided if required.
