Config

We install a multitude of hardware as well as data cabling infrastructure, associated ancillaries and audio visual equipment:

Hardware

Installation is only part of the story.

The installation of hardware doesn’t just involve the management of engineering resource. AzteQ supplies a bespoke service, according to individual client requirements and can incorporate all associated activities to enable a successful project.

Cashpoint

AzteQ installs a myriad of IT hardware, including EPoS, HHTs, PEDs, scanners and kiosks. Not only that, our service can also include warehousing, con guration, distribution, training, reverse logistics and disposal.

A secure warehousing and distribution solution is available covering goods in, stock management, order processing and ful lment. These are controlled and tracked via AJaMS; AzteQ’s job, storage and distribution IT platform.

This underpins our operational activities, providing a fully integrated web based job and management system designed specifically to fit AzteQ’s business. It includes the following functions:

  • Serialisation & stock control
  • Job scheduling and processing, including bulk CSV import for data efficiency
  • Allocation of engineers to jobs based on skills matrix, availability, job category and geography
  • Engineer bulletins and reference section
  • Real-time job closure, including customer sign-off  with site information capture and customised fields
  • Customer overview of job status
  • Management reporting

Data cabling

Whether the requirement is for network outlet additions, outlet repairs or moves, or a new cabling infrastructure, AzteQ will deliver a professional installation, utilising our specialist engineers and the latest technology solutions.

Activities can be supplied for a single site, a project, or as multi-site rollout; covering the UK. AzteQ’s range of cable solutions, patch panels, cabinets and outlets, incorporates the highest quality components from industry leaders. Installations are completed by fully trained and experienced engineers, including those that are PASMA and CSCS trained.

Network

Furthermore, installations can include the supply and installation of active equipment, including switches, routers and media converters. Depending on the project, if hardware is to be installed at the same time, we will endeavour to utilise cross trained engineers for all aspects of the installation in order to minimise costs. This can be particularly relevant for applications involving EPoS, HHTs and switches for example.

Utilising our IT platform and digital technology, all projects can incorporate real time job closure, including customer sign-off, with site information capture, customised fields and MI reporting.

Training and implementation

Where applicable, our installation services incorporate training. This can typically be part of the process, or initiated as a separate activity. AzteQ places as much emphasis on engineers’ soft skills as it does on technical competence, ensuring that our clients experience high quality installations and support.

Usually, this will be incorporated as part of an EPoS implementation program or within a HHT installation rollout. As an example, AzteQ has implemented training visits to approximately 3300 merchants countrywide to familiarise them with a card terminal service, which included Equality & Diversity policies. The project was carried out in a 10 week period and involved 16 fully vetted trainers. Full scheduling, site and performance management were provided as part of the project.
