Where we’re at
Utilising a multi-skilled workforce and operating from a 10,000 sq ft office, warehousing, configuration and distribution facility in Hemel Hempstead, AzteQ provides a cost effective business model to supply a range of related services at one source. With satellite offices in Rainham and Windsor, AzteQ is proactively expanding its coverage and support function.
Engineering Standards
AzteQ has continued to grow its engineering resource with quality and sustainability being the two key considerations. AzteQ continually drives a culture of effective communication which maintains strong relations with field staff, whilst ensuring better service delivery for our clients.
Vetting
Vetting includes validation of legal right to work, current abode, and employment references for at least one year plus HM Treasury check together with CRB and credit checks as required.
Code of Practice
As part of its quality strategy, AzteQ has introduced an Engineer’s Code of Practice (CoP) that provides its teams with details on safe working, procedures, etiquette, time and works management. The 26 page booklet promotes excellent service delivery to customers and embracing it as a point of reference benefits everyone concerned. A detailed CoP is not common in AzteQ’s market sector and it takes pride of place in our quality processes.
Quality Assurance
AzteQ is an ISO accredited company, and operates to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008. The AzteQ Quality System has been documented using Per4ma, which is a business modelling program. This enables a fully integrated electronic system, which can be accessed remotely or through the Company network.
Health & Safety
AzteQ operates a stringent H&S strategy, to provide such information, training and supervision, as are needed for the purpose of ensuring that Health & Safety requirements are achieved. In May, 2012, AzteQ has already achieved safecontractor accreditation. The safecontractor scheme is designed to review and audit the health and safety policies, procedures and documentation of contractors.
In December 2012, AzteQ obtained accreditation for Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Services OHSAS 18001:2007 for all operations.The OHSAS 18001 is an International Standard awarded to businesses demonstrating robust and consistent systems for occupational health and safety management.
Environment
AzteQ is ISO 14001 accredited. ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses. AzteQ’s Environmental Management System provides a systematic way to discover and control the effects the company has on the environment and verifies compliance with current legislation.
Technology
AzteQ’s Open IT platform - AJaMS (AzteQ Job Management System) – underpins all operational activities and is a fully integrated web based job and management system designed specifically to fit AzteQ’s business. This holds and manages all data relating to installation activities. AJaMS includes a full array of functions, including:
- Job scheduling and processing, including bulk CSV import
- Allocation of engineers to jobs based on availability, skills matrix and distance
- Job closure data including engineer times and multiple custom options
- Engineer bulletins and reference section
- Management reporting
Clients can be provided with a secure portal giving access to real time data which can be searched and presented in a desired format. Closure detail, exception reports and complete site details are available.
