Latest technology improves IT installation and break-fix workflow
As part of its installation and site support service, AzteQ has invested in a bespoke mobile web portal to simplify site data capture. The system, going live in March 2012, is based on an android platform and is an extension of AzteQ’s existing realtime job management system.
Equipped with smartphones, AzteQ engineers receive instructions whilst in the field, can capture site specific information, sign-off signatures and asset manage their serialised stock during job closure. All data is then available to AzteQ’s clients via their own portal.
Grant Smith, Director adds “The simplicity of the technology and its integration into our management system means that our clients can track any aspect of the service they wish to, whether it's for a one off activity or a multi site rollout.”
